Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (formally Link-up) is the UK rail industry supplier registration and qualification scheme. Originally established over a decade ago, RISQS has made a significant impact to the rail industry by providing a single common qualification process for suppliers that is shared by Network Rail and over 110 rail organisations including Infrastructure Management Contractors, Underground Infrastructure companies, Construction companies and all major Train and Freight Operators.

National Skills Academy (NSAR)
NSAR was established with wide railway industry support to help tackle current and future skills needs within the railway engineering industry. The industry’s vision is that by 2015, its engineering workforce will have the necessary skills to support the maintenance, development and expansion of a first-class, cost effective 21st Century railway.

NQA is a leading assessment, verification and certification body and works in partnership with a wide range of business, government departments and charity organisations to help improve performance in quality, environment and health and safety management.

Highfield Awarding Body of Compliance (HABC)
Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC) is the UK and Middle East’s leading supplier of compliance qualifications and apprenticeships. They offer over 200 qualifications. HABC is regulated by Ofqual, the Welsh Government, the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) Accreditation and the Security Industry Authority (SIA).

Association of Railway Training Providers
ARTP is the trade association for training, development and competence management suppliers to the Railway Industry. Our aim is to be the association that represents the interests of all those involved in these services.

Rail Industry Contractors Association
The Rail Industry Contractors Association was founded as AOTLS in 1999 and consists of many of the leading suppliers to the rail industry, including contingent labour & safety critical staff. By working as a collective force our members are able to gain information and exert influence, which they could not achieve alone.

Construction Skills Certification Scheme
Seaton Rail staff engaged on construction sites are all certified to meet the requirements of the CSCS Scheme and carry the relevant card of certification. The Scheme keeps a database of those working in construction that achieve, or can demonstrate they have already attained an agreed level of occupational competence.

Construction Plant Competence Scheme
Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) - a card scheme to prove the skills of plant operators. CPCS is the largest and most highly recognised card scheme for the plant industry. It helps to prove workers' operating skills and health and safety awareness. The Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) provides a single skills card for the plant sector of the construction industry.
Seaton Rail Plant Operators are all certified by the CPCS Scheme.

National Plant Operators Registration Scheme
National Plant Operators Registration Scheme Limited (NPORS) is one of the UK’s leading accrediting bodies for; lift trucks recognised by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and Health & Safety Executive Northern Ireland (HSENI). NPORS also work in the following sectors; Industrial, Construction, Utilities, Warehousing and Distribution, Agricultural, Ports and Marine.
Seaton Rail staff are accredited by NPORS for hand tools and portable equipment including Cable Avoidance Tools (C.A.T. & Genny).
